Hmmmmm.... that's tough but I'd say the former since being with that person prevents you from being with someone you don't feel alone with. Then you dump them and you're alone. So at least being alone gives you more options... unless being alone makes you so desperate you find someone you feel alone with and.... GAHHHHH!!!
That was my thought exactly!?! I think. I would rather be alone and concentrate on my children, but it gets lonely. Why is it so hard to just be content? I'm thinking of buying a pool (just for the pool boy):D
Well.....great subject! I think being alone is worse though. Even if you are with someone that you feel "alone" with....at least it's human contact. But then again.....having friends do the same thing! You see...I hate being alone! I don't have kids to look after so it's just me. But that is a great question!

The first is worst, hands down.
